Hardman's time in India - Landscape Photographs

Whilst stationed in India, Hardman took many landscape photographs - often doing so in a way that made them look like paintings or drawings.
Snow-Covered Mountains, India - taken between 1917-1922

Landscape with Tree, India - taken in 1917 and showing the Nilgiri Hills in the background

Nilgiri Hills, South India - taken in 1917

View of Langoor Jarhi- taken in 1919. On the reverse of the print Hardman has written 'Looking from Church, Lansdowne, towards Langoor Jarhi. Snow peaks can be seen at top of picture'.

Near Lansdowne, India - taken in 1918. This photograph has been produced in such a way as to make it look like a drawing.
